The event also witnessed a contribution of ₹1,11,111 by the VBC community to the Mukhyamantri Kanya Kelavani Nidhi Yojana, a state initiative aimed at encouraging girls’ education.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that education plays a vital role in the development of individuals and society.

He stated that the Gujarat Government will continue supporting initiatives that contribute to educational advancement, social upliftment, and inclusive development across communities.

During the inauguration ceremony, members of the VBC (Vagad Be Chovisi) community presented a cheque of ₹1,11,111 to the Mukhyamantri Kanya Kelavani Nidhi Yojana.

The contribution is intended to support educational opportunities for girls and strengthen the state’s efforts to improve access to quality education.

The newly inaugurated VBC Bhavan has been developed as a community facility designed to host educational, cultural, and social activities.

Such infrastructure is expected to provide a platform for community engagement while supporting initiatives related to education, social welfare, and cultural preservation.

The inauguration aligns with the Gujarat Government’s broader focus on strengthening education and community development.

Officials highlighted that initiatives promoting girls’ education and community participation contribute to long-term social and economic progress by encouraging greater educational attainment and empowerment.

Community-led contributions, such as donations to educational initiatives, complement government efforts by encouraging wider public participation in social development.

The event also reflects the growing role of community organizations in supporting education and welfare initiatives.
