BOTAD, GUJARAT — Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel addressed a large gathering at the Vikas Sankalp Sabha in Botad, where he outlined the state government’s development vision and ongoing initiatives.
During his address, Patel emphasised that Gujarat has consistently moved forward on the path of growth and development, driven by strong governance and public support. He said that the government is committed to improving infrastructure, boosting economic activity, and ensuring that development reaches every section of society.
He highlighted that major investments in roads, industries, and urban development have strengthened the state’s economy, while rural development projects are helping improve the quality of life in villages. According to him, the government is working to ensure balanced growth across both urban and rural areas.
The Chief Minister also spoke about welfare schemes aimed at supporting farmers, women, and youth, stating that these initiatives are designed to create opportunities and provide financial and social security. He said that special attention is being given to empowering youth through skill development and employment generation programmes.
Referring to the upcoming elections, Patel said that the government is seeking continued support from the people to carry forward its development agenda. He added that public participation is essential in achieving long-term progress and stability.
He further highlighted that Gujarat has become a model state in terms of governance and economic performance, attracting investments and creating job opportunities. He credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for laying a strong foundation for development when he served as Chief Minister of the state.
Patel said that transparency, accountability, and efficient administration are key priorities of his government, and efforts are being made to deliver services effectively to citizens. He also stressed the importance of technology in governance, which helps improve efficiency and accessibility.
