Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has announced the development of eight new Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) estates across five districts, reinforcing the state’s position as one of India’s leading industrial destinations.
The announcement was made during the Fourth Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Vadodara, where the Chief Minister outlined the state’s vision to accelerate industrial investment, generate employment, and promote balanced regional development.
The new Smart Industrial Estates will span approximately 3,611 acres and be developed in:
- Kheda District – Mahij, Sarkhej, Mahisa, Anghadi
- Ahmedabad District – Mandal
- Panchmahal District – Nadisar
- Chhota Udepur District – Undva
- Bhavnagar District – Monpur
These industrial estates are expected to strengthen Gujarat’s industrial infrastructure while attracting new domestic and global investments.
